GRAHAM FAMILY SINGERS NEWS
Volume 4, Issue 1, September 2004
What’s Been Happening
We did not do a summer tour this year due to the gas prices and other things. We have been very busy this summer. We’ve been swimming several times, going to friend’s homes, having cookouts and we went to Water World. It’s a water park. That was fun. Also, Mr. George from our Church took us to Boondocks, which has many things to do in it.
We also have been practicing our voice and piano. We have been working on songs for our new recording.
Caitie competed for the first time in the Yamaha Piano Competition in April of this year. She did not win but did get a lot of good comments from the judges. She wants to do it again. She has the competitive bug in her. She has been bugging "no pun intended" her piano teacher to hurry up and give her the songs for next year’s competition. In the next competition, Samantha and Megan also want to compete.
School has started for us. It started on August 16, 2004. Caitie, Samantha, and Travis are in 8th grade this year. Megan is in 12th grade this year. She is also attending Arapahoe Community College at the same time.

Rocky Mountain Quartet Convention 2004
We were able again this year to participate in the Rocky Mountain Quartet Convention. The guest pianist for the convention was Jason Vaughn. We met him at Stamps Baxter and have become close friends with him. We got to spend time a little more time with him this year. We also had the special privilege of having him join us in a song.
We also got to meet some more special groups at the convention this year. The Keller Brothers and the Songfellows Quartet to name a couple.

Singing with the Songfellows, the Lesters and Starlight
We like to thank John Moyers for allowing us to participate again this year and being a very big supporter of us.

New CD Project
We are currently working on a new CD (our 2nd). We think you are going to like it a lot. We have enjoyed picking the songs and having Mr. Nelson work on the tracks for us.
We should be in the studio recording sometime in September. We hope to have the CD by December.
The cost of this project will be about $12,000. We know that there are those who would like to help support our ministry in this area. For each donation of $50 we will be sending you a copy of the CD as soon as they are ready along with a DVD with both our videos, "The Beginning" and "First Journey"
You can donate online by going to our web site, www.grahamfamilyministries.com. Click on 'Our Second CD project.' Donations may also be mailed to the address on the back of this
newsletter (bottom left).![]()
New on the WEB
We have a lot of new photos on our website. Some of the more interesting are the photos of dolls. When we went to La Veta, CO. We found that the pastor’s wife makes dolls and she has won many awards for them. Even our Dad (who does not play with dolls) thought they were neat and took pictures of most of them. Even if you are not interested in dolls you will be fascinated with these photos. Click on the 'Photos' button.
Also, we have a number of photos from our photo shoot for our new CD that we are currently working on. The shoot was at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO. This was our first on location photo shoot. It was a lot different from a studio and a lot more work. You will want to check out these photos. Click on the 'Photos' button or on 'Our Second CD project' on the main page.

Celebration!!!
Our parents will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in November (14th). We are planning to give them a party and they are even going to renew their vows. We are having fun planning this and working on the decorations for it. It’s gonna be soooooo much fun!!

First Journey
Don't forget that in addition to the CD and Tape we also have a video, 'First Journey' with all the songs from the 'First Journey' CD.
The Beginning
The Beginning is a collection of home video taken by our parents over the last nine years of us singing from before we knew how to sing through the 2002 Rocky Mountain Quartet Convention. It includes many embarrassing moments that we would like to forget, however, our parents think they are cute.

Graham Family Singers CD project |
Many of you who enjoyed our first CD "First Journey" have asked when we will have another CD out. Knowing that God has called us to this ministry, we have decided to do another entitled:
"God is Great, God is Good"
This is an exciting project that we plan to have it finished by the first of December. The cost of producing "God is Great, God is Good" is approximately $12,000, and we would like to have the project paid for by the time it is released. We are trusting God to bring in the necessary funds and with your participation in our pre-release project we can easily do this.
For each donation of $50, you will receive a copy of the CD "God is Great, God is Good" along with a DVD with both of our videos,
"The Beginning" and "First Journey."
Donation can be mailed to:
